Managing Your Guest List

In the latest news, William Shatner is upset that his Iold "Star Trek" co-star George Takei did not invite him to his wedding. Takai claims that Shatner was invited but didn’t come. Even on Star Trek, wedding invitations can be a cosmic disaster. The best way to keep you wedding costs down is to keep your guest list down. But, how do you do that without hurt feelings? Here are some tips:

If you are not inviting someone to the wedding, don’t invite them to the bridal shower,

If you have a lot of friends and relatives, don’t invite coworkers.

You should invite the fiancé or spouse of a guest

Just like they do in Hollywood, have an A list and a B list. Invite the a list two months ahead of time so that if anyone on that list can’t come you can invite people on the B list without them expecting that they weren’t invited first.

Have a set amount of guests for both sets of parents to invite. If anyone wants to go above that list, the agreement is that they will play for the extra guests.
